Veitsberg in Ebensfeld

Great view

We park in horses field, from there it is wonderful to hike up to Veitsberg. There are various hiking routes up to it. The nice thing about this excursion is that there aren't too many people on these tours, you have peace and quiet and can enjoy nature to the fullest. There's no pub upstairs, so you should bring some food with you. If the weather is right, you get a wonderful view as a reward.

Not for nothing is this summit sung in the Franconia Song. Fantastic view! Tables and benches invite to a picnic, very old trees. One of the most beautiful places in the region.

When the weather is nice, the view is just fantastic. There is no rest here, but it is not as crowded as on the Staffelberg. We will definitely be back, with the picnic basket! ?
